Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. She inherited her father's interest in theatre from an early time. While in school in Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University as well as in other parts of Atlanta. Following his air force service, in 1953 he appeared in an air force production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their son, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. The couple divorced in 1957. the Air Force and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960 the family moved from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The year 1964 was when Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television program known as Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by on their own. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It lasted 6 years. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa, was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
